I went with my family to the Missouckee Indian Arts and Crafts Festival today, which runs all week at the Missouckee Indian Village, at Mile Marker 35, on US Highway 41, Tamiami Trail, near Miami, Florida.
US 41 cuts across Florida, from Naples to Miami, and bisects the Everglades. It is hard to convey how beautiful it is here, the vastness of it all…
When I am in the Everglades, I am with our Mother. I can feel her. And what I feel, how I feel, was enhanced by hearing the drumming and singing all day today at the festival.
There have been times, and there will be times to come, when I will feel disconnected from Our Mother. Yet I know she is all around me, and in my heart. My path is ahead of me, the way is clear.
I want to thank everyone who has walked with me this year, sharing their peace with me, and helping me with my projects along the way. They are big projects, and I appreciate your help and enthusiasm.
Share your peace with Mother Earth and Father Sky and the big Waters all around us.
