How do you experience the Air? Do you see it as the sky, as a place to hold clouds? Do you feel it as a place where the Wind rushes by?
Honorable Shamans and Fellow Pagans, Air is one of the Elements, which are acknowledged in ceremony. We place the Air in the East, and correlate it to Intellect, and Thoughts.
We symbolize the Air with Birds. Trees reach to the sky, their branches touch the sky.
What is your relationship to Air, to your breath? When you breathe on an object, you infuse it with your essence. If you burn an offering, or smudge, do you watch the smoke curl up to Great Spirit?
